Tinubu wants to stop FBI from releasing his files – Atiku’s aide
Shaibu stated on Thursday that Tinubu’s legal team in the US has filed motions to participate in an ongoing freedom of information lawsuit, which requests the release of documents shedding light on the president’s “true identity.”

An aide to Atiku Abubakar, Phrank Shaibu, alleges that President Bola Tinubu is making efforts to prevent the FBI from disclosing his files.
Shaibu stated on Thursday that Tinubu’s legal team in the US has filed motions to participate in an ongoing freedom of information lawsuit, which requests the release of documents shedding light on the president’s “true identity.”
According to Shaibu, Christopher Carmichael, one of Tinubu’s lawyers in the recent Chicago State University records case, submitted the motion on October 18.
Shaibu expressed concerns that Tinubu’s actions suggest he is concealing something and urged the US authorities not to grant Tinubu’s request, instead releasing all files related to the president.
It’s worth noting that Tinubu had previously tried to prevent CSU from releasing his academic records, but his request was denied by the court.
