Tinubu to Visit Ilorin for projects Commissioning

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to participate in the combined 37th and 38th convocation ceremony at the University of Ilorin, as revealed by the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof.

Egbewole disclosed that President Tinubu, as the Visitor to the University, will be inaugurating a diverse range of projects, including lecture rooms, faculty and departmental buildings, and more.

The list of projects ready for commissioning includes the Faculty of Basic and Clinical Science Building, Advancement Centre Building, Department of Anatomy Building, Extension of University Clinic, Department of Chemical Engineering Building, Faculty of Engineering 400-seater capacity studio, Faculty of Engineering 500-seater capacity lecture theatres 1 and 2.

Additionally, the projects encompass the construction of four-bedroom apartments for cones, perimeter block wall fence, asphalt overlay on existing roads from the University gate to the Senate building (phases 1 and 2), asphalt overlay on the existing road from the University’s main campus to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (phase 5), asphalt overlay on the road at UNILORIN GRA Staff Quarters, and the construction of a road from NOC to the Faculty of Art and Law, as well as a road to the University Primary School.
