Tinubu Suspends NSIPA National Coordinator three months after appointment
Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo, the National N-POWER Program Manager, has been appointed as the acting NC/CEO during the investigation.
President Bola Tinubu has authorized the immediate suspension and inquiry into the alleged financial misconduct of Ms. Halima Shehu, the National Coordinator and CEO of the National Social Investment Program Agency.
Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo, the National N-POWER Program Manager, has been appointed as the acting NC/CEO during the investigation.
Her suspension comes approximately three months after Senate confirmation of her appointment.
Before her current role, she served as the National Coordinator of the Conditional Cash Transfer Programme and held positions at the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development from 2017 to 2022.
