Tinubu Submits Names of Three REC Nominees to Senate for Approval
President Bola Tinubu has submitted the names of three nominees for Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) to the Senate for confirmation.
The Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, read the communication during Tuesday’s plenary session.
The nomination request has been referred to the Senate Committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which has been tasked with reviewing the nominees and reporting back promptly.
