Despite not extending a personal invitation to Tinubu, Wike commended the president’s reconciliatory efforts and addressed criticisms regarding the constitutional aspect of the intervention.
Wike has pledged prompt compliance with any presidential request, emphasizing his commitment to the peace process and dispelling claims of imposing demands on the state.
The governor encourages Nigerians to avoid taking sides based on misinformation, asserting his contentment and lack of personal interests in the state.
The resolution of the political turmoil involved a meeting with Tinubu, leading to an agreement between Governor Fubara and Wike.
