President Bola Tinubu has pledged to address unemployment by establishing industrial hubs, as announced by the Federal Government.
Tinubu shared this initiative at the 55th International Conference of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in Abuja.
The theme of the conference was “Sustainable Human Resources, Business, and National Development.”
Represented by the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkiru Onyejeocha, President Tinubu highlighted the government’s commitment to steering Nigeria toward self-reliance, aiming to reduce dependency on external sources in the face of global challenges.
The proposed plan involves creating unique industrial hubs strategically aligned with the strengths of each region in the country.
President Tinubu emphasized inclusivity, intending to actively involve women and youth as integral contributors to the nation’s success in achieving sustainable development.
