Tinubu Orders Immediate Rescue of Abducted Zamfara Students
After bandits attacked Sabon-Gida in Bungudu Local Government Area, abducting more than 24 students from the Federal University of Gusau, six of them were later rescued.

However, President Tinubu has now given orders to ensure the release of those who are still in captivity.
In a statement, Tinubu condemned the abduction, emphasizing that there is no justification for such heinous crimes against innocent students pursuing quality education.
He expressed condolences to the affected families and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to protecting all Nigerian citizens, assuring the families of the abducted students that every effort will be made to ensure their safe return.
Additionally, Tinubu pledged to maintain educational institutions as safe spaces for knowledge, growth, and opportunity, free from the threats of terrorists.
