Tinubu has lied about every aspect of his life – Atiku

Atiku Abubakar, the former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has clarified that his name change was officially documented in an affidavit over 50 years ago, in response to President Bola Tinubu’s accusations of forgery.

Abubakar’s spokesperson, Paul Ibe, issued a statement asserting that President Tinubu has a history of forgery and dishonesty in various aspects of his life, including his heritage, name, date of birth, education, and certificates.

Abubakar emphasized that his name change from Siddiq Abubakar to Atiku Abubakar is well-documented in an affidavit dating back to August 18, 1973, publicly available.

In contrast, Atiku Abubakar alleged that President Tinubu falsified his educational qualifications and employment history, including claims of attending specific schools and working for certain companies. He accused Tinubu of misrepresenting his academic background and employment experience.

Abubakar urged Tinubu and his representatives to refrain from making comparisons between his established and transparent history and the questionable aspects of Tinubu’s life.

Abubakar is challenging the outcome of the presidential election and has been granted access to Tinubu’s academic records by a U.S. court. He has also sought to present new evidence regarding Tinubu’s academic history to the Supreme Court.
