Tinubu didn’t prepare Nigerians for economic reforms – Ex-Minister, Bolaji Abdullahi
Speaking on Politics Today, a Channels TV program, Abdullahi acknowledged the good intentions behind the policies but highlighted the need for better communication with Nigerians regarding their impact.

Bolaji Abdullahi, a former minister of sports and youth development, has expressed concerns about the lack of preparation by the President Bola Tinubu administration for the economic reforms it is implementing.
Speaking on Politics Today, a Channels TV program, Abdullahi acknowledged the good intentions behind the policies but highlighted the need for better communication with Nigerians regarding their impact.
He emphasized that measures like fuel subsidy removal and forex market unification have led to soaring commodity prices, making it difficult for many Nigerians to afford basic necessities.
Abdullahi urged the government to engage more with the public and provide explanations for the ongoing challenges they are facing.
He cautioned against implementing additional measures, such as the Oronsaye report, which could exacerbate the current economic pressures.
