Tinubu celebrates Osimhen, Oshoala’s CAF award wins

Bola Tinubu has lauded Victor Osimhen, Asisat Oshoala, and Chiamaka Nnadozie for their victories at the 2023 CAF awards.
Osimhen secured the 2023 CAF men’s Player of the Year, making history as the first Nigerian since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999.
Oshoala claimed her sixth CAF women’s Player of the Year, and Nnadozie received the inaugural women’s goalkeeper of the year award.
Tinubu praised them as national pride and inspiration for aspiring footballers, expressing belief that Nigeria has the potential for greatness.
He also commended their acknowledgment of roots and indigenous coaches.
The Super Falcons were recognized as the Women’s National Team of the Year.
