Tinubu appoints Special Investigator to Probe CBN
He sent a letter to Obazee, the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), to inform him of the appointment.
President Bola Tinubu has appointed Jim Osayande to investigate the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Related Entities.
He sent a letter to Obazee, the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), to inform him of the appointment.
Tinubu’s letter stated that the appointment is in line with Section 15(5) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).
The appointment is effective immediately, and Jim Osayande is to report directly to Tinubu’s office. The full terms of his engagement will be communicated to him in due course.
