Supporting Fubara Was A Mistake Which Will Be Corrected – Says Wike
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, acknowledged his error in supporting Siminalayi Fubara as his successor in Rivers State.
Speaking at an event in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, he apologized to the state’s people for this mistake.
Wike emphasized his humanity, admitting fallibility, and pledged to rectify the error in due time.
He clarified that he never expected worship, rebuffing a statement by Fubara, asserting that gratitude, not ingratitude, should characterize political relationships.
This admission comes amid a strained relationship between Fubara and Wike, fueling a political crisis in the state.
