Super Eagles’ AFCON Squad Revealed
Ahmed Musa and William Troost-Ekong return to the national team, with the squad comprised of three goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders, and eight forwards.
Super Eagles’ head coach, Jose Peseiro, has revealed his 25-player squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Notable exclusions from the provisional squad include Terem Moffi, Paul Onuachu, Cyriel Dessers, Nathan Tella, and Emmanuel Dennis.
Ojo Olorunleke is the sole home-based player. Victor Osimhen, the reigning African footballer of the year, leads the team, set for a one-week training camp in Abu Dhabi before heading to Ivory Coast.
The Super Eagles are in Group A with Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
