The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) is pleased to announce that it has received 1000 bags of rice from the constituency office of Senator Saliu Mustapha for onward distribution to volunteer teachers who participated in the summer lessons held across the four Local Government Areas of Kwara Central Senatorial District.

This generous gesture is in direct response to the appeal made by the leaderships of IEYDA and the Ilorin Emirate Students Union (IESU) to Senator Mustapha for support, either in kind or cash, to recognize the invaluable contributions of these volunteers.

It should be noted that distribution will be prorated based on the number of identified summer classes, ensuring that each volunteer teacher receives from the 10kg bags of rice.

Volunteer teachers in our communities are critical pillars in the education sector, often working tirelessly without financial reward, and any gesture of support, no matter how small, goes a long way in recognizing their selfless contributions to the future of our youth.

On behalf of the over one million youths of the Ilorin Emirate, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Senator Saliu Mustapha for his swift and generous response to our request. His commitment to the educational and social development of the Emirate is evident in this act, like numerous others, and we are deeply grateful.

We would also like to commend other public-spirited individuals across the district who have independently stepped forward out of their own volition to support this vital community initiative. Their contributions help strengthen the communal effort to reshape the future of the Ilorin Emirate and restore its value system.

Finally, we express our profound gratitude to all the volunteer teachers concerned. Your dedication and hard work are not only shaping the minds of the next generation but also contributing immensely to the ongoing communal efforts aimed at building a brighter future for the Ilorin Emirate.

By this notice, we hereby call on the leaderships of the educational committees of the designated summer schools to reach out to the undersigned for arrangements on their respective allocations.
