Shagaya Commissions Borehole Donated to Sholagberu LGEA Model School in Ilorin

The frontline nongovernmental organization in Kwara, Salman Shagaya Foundation has commissioned Motorized Borehole, educational resource materials donated under its Education Support Projects (SSF/ESP/23) at Sholagberu LGEA Model School, Ajikobi Ward, Ilorin. 

The Foundation under the leadership of its Chairman, Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya redeemed the pledged donation which was earlier announced during Shagaya political campaign tour in February under the 1 billion naira community development projects fund.

In his word, Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya enjoined the school management to utilize the donated resources judiciously while pledging more interventions from the foundation to the school and beyond.

Projects commissioned were motorized borehole; tables and chairs; four Plasma Television sets and four DVDs; a photocopy machine and scanning inbuilt printer amongst various resource materials.

While addressing the audience, Kwara State SUBEB Chairman, Prof. Adaramaja appreciated the unprecedented support of the foundation to promote quality education in the state and the support giving the state government in the education sector.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya; Member-elect, Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Mallam Muktar Tolani Shagaya; KWSUBEB Chairman, Prof. Abdulraheem Adaramaja; Commissioner for Business, Innovation, and Technology, Hon. Ibrahim Akaje; Ilorin West Education Secretary, Alhaja Afusat Funmilayo; Community Development Leaders among other dignitaries.
