The Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWSPHCDA) has Urged Journalists and Stakeholders to Motivate the people of Kwara State to accept IPV² Vaccination.
The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr. Nusirat Elelu stated this while speaking at a meeting with Stakeholders and Journalists held earlier today at the state cold store Conference room.
Represented by the Director Primary Health Care system, Dr Micheal Oguntoye, Dr Nusirat called on the Journalists to use their communication skills to persuade the communities to accept the immunisation.
She also tasked various Stakeholders across the state to further enlighten kwarans on the importance of the exercise as well as the dangers associated with the failure to accept the vaccinations.

The KWSPHCDA Executive Secretary also revealed that the agency has Conducted training for health workers across the Sixteen local Governments of Kwara State and the Vaccination will be available very soon.
In conclusion, Dr Nusirat called on mothers, Fathers, grandparents, Caregivers and all community members to support every eligible child to be vaccinated against polio by ensuring they are vaccinated and complete their routine vaccines.
