Senator Mustapha rejoices with Ubandomah over appointment as National Mosque Imam
Kwara Central’s lawmaker, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has expressed joy over the appointment of the Ubandomah of Ilorin Emirate, Sheikh Dr. Abdulkodir Jumuah Salman Sholagberu, as the Chief Imam of the National Mosque, Abuja.
In a statement issued by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, Senator Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin, described the appointment as well-deserved, acknowledging the scholar’s immense contributions to Islamic knowledge and education.
He noted that the appointment showcases the Ilorin Emirate’s long-lasting contributions to the promotion of Islamic values and intellectual excellence across Nigeria and beyond.
The lawmaker expressed confidence that Sheikh Sholagberu will continue to bring honor to the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State at large in his new position.
Senator Mustapha congratulated the Ilorin-born Islamic scholar and prayed for Allah’s guidance and strength as he prepares to assume his new duties in leading Muslims in worship.
