Senator Mustapha Mourns 11th Balogun Gambari, Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari

Senator Saliu Mustapha, Turaki of Ilorin Emirate and Senator representing Kwara Central, has mourned the passing of Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari Morogo III, the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin, who died today, Friday, at the age of 97.
In a personally signed statement, Senator Mustapha extends his condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, HRH Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari, the Gambari community, and the entire family of Alhaji Abdulkareem. He also offers special condolences to his aide, Alhaji Sulyman Tunji Buhari, for this irreplaceable loss.
He describes the late Alhaji Abdulkareem as a great community leader who contributed immensely to the social and cultural heritage of the Ilorin Emirate.
“Alhaji Abdulkareem was a revered figure in our community, a man who embodied the values of tradition, respect and service. His death leaves a great void in our hearts, and he will be missed deeply,” the Senator said.
The Turaki of Ilorin prays that the soul of the late former Senior Chancellor rests in peace, and hopes that the family finds solace in the fond memories he has left behind.
