Senator Mustapha Commended for Community Development in Kwara

The Senator representing Kwara Central, Distinguished Senator Saliu Mustapha, has been commended for his commitment to community development through his recent support of the 4th edition of the Exercise is Medicine mega fitness event, known as the Ilorin Fitness Festival.
Senator Mustapha, who also holds the title of Turaki of Ilorin, donated a sum of one million naira to aid the event, reflecting his dedication to grassroots initiatives and the well-being of his constituents.
The donation was confirmed by Akorede Kehinde Monsuru, the Convener of the Ilorin Fitness Festival and CEO of Exercise is Medicine. Monsuru, an IOC/NOC certified fitness trainer, expressed appreciation for the Senator’s support, highlighting the impact of his contribution.
“We can confirm the receipt of the one million naira donation from Senator Saliu Mustapha in support of the upcoming Ilorin Fitness Festival,” Monsuru stated. “We thank him very sincerely for his generosity, and we believe this will go a long way in helping us achieve the event’s objective of promoting a healthy lifestyle among the people.”
The Ilorin Fitness Festival, where fitness meets fun, will be held at the Kwara State Stadium Complex on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 7 a.m. to noon.
