Senator Mustapha calls for establishment of more aquaculture centres in Nigeria

The Senator Representing Kwara Central Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agricultural Production Services and Rural Development, Senator Saliu Mustapha has advocated for the establishment of more aquaculture centres across Nigeria.
Speaking during the plenary on Tuesday, the Kwara lawmaker stated that the establishment of these centres will empower Nigerian youth and women in the fishery business by equipping them with the necessary resources and training to thrive.
He noted that investing in the potential of Nigerians is crucial for country’s sustainable agricultural growth.
The Senator urged the Federal Government to support the initiative so as to boost the capacity of the country’s domestic fish production industry.
