Senate postpones resumption till April 23

The Senate has decided to delay the resumption of plenary sessions from April 16 to April 23, 2024.
This adjustment, as reported by Punch, is due to renovations on the main chambers of both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
Clerk to the Senate, Chinedu Akubueze, conveyed this information to lawmakers via internal correspondence on Saturday.
The message informed senators that the postponement was necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, with apologies for any inconvenience caused.
