Sen Mustapha Commended for providing relief to fire incident victims in Sawmill, Ipata

The Senator representing Kwara Central, Saliu Mustapha, has been commended for his swift response and support for the victims of recent fire incidents at the Sawmill, Odo-Okun, and Alh. Haruna Kannike Shopping Complex in the Ipata market of Ilorin.
In a statement issued by Nasif Sholagberu, the Senator’s Media Assistant, it was revealed that Senator Mustapha donated one million naira to each of the two affected areas to support the victims.
According to the statement, the donation was announced by the Senator’s delegation, led by Alhaji Shuaib Ambali, during a visit to the affected areas.
Reacting to the donation, the President of the Kwara Artisan Congress, Alhaji Jimoh Adeshina, lauded Senator Saliu Mustapha for his prompt response and support for the victims of the recent fire incident at the Sawmill.
Adeshina, who spoke on behalf of all artisans in the state, including the plank dealers who were affected by the incident, expressed gratitude for the senator’s assistance and consistent attention to their needs.
“We appreciate our Senator for his support to our people and for always listening to our yearnings. May Allah continue to guide him as he continues to serve his constituents,” he said.
Similarly, the Iyaloja of Ipata Market, Mrs. Balqees Abdulrasheed, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the market traders who suffered losses in the fire outbreak.
She commended Senator Mustapha’s gesture, describing it as a true representation of his commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
The Iyaloja prayed that his efforts would always be rewarded with success and prosperity.
The victims of the fire incident also expressed appreciation for the senator’s intervention, noting that the financial support would alleviate their plight.
