Season 9 : BBNaija premieres ‘No Loose Guard’ edition

The 2024 edition of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show, themed ‘No Loose Guard!’, has officially launched.

The much-anticipated show began on Sunday night, revealing 28 housemates paired into 14 teams.

This marks the ninth season of BBNaija.

According to the organizers, this season promises “double drama, relationships, and huge competition.”

“With new twists and unknown housemates ready to become your new faves, this season promises to be one for the books,” they stated.

“Expect shocking twists, explosive drama, and alliances that will keep you guessing. Biggie is shaking things up like never before, and you won’t want to miss a single moment.”

The show will run for 71 days, concluding on October 6.

The winner of the 2024 season will receive a cash prize of N100 million, N20 million less than last year’s prize.

Last year’s eighth season featured 20 former housemates from the show’s inception in 2006 through its seventh edition in 2022, concluding on October 1, with Ilebaye Odiniya winning the grand prize.

Ilebaye took home N120 million worth of prizes.
