Sanwo-Olu Asks DSS to Join MohBad’s Death Investigation in Lagos

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended an invitation to the Department of State Services (DSS) to collaborate with the state’s police command in investigating the untimely demise of the musician, IleriOluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as MohBad.

This announcement was made through a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Gboyega Akosile, on Tuesday.

The statement emphasized the government’s awareness of the developments surrounding the passing of the music sensation and revealed that, as per Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s instructions, the Lagos State Police have initiated a comprehensive inquiry into the circumstances surrounding MohBad’s death.

A specialized 19-member police panel has been established to unravel the mystery surrounding this unfortunate event.

Furthermore, Governor Sanwo-Olu has taken the step of inviting the Department of State Services to join this investigative effort.

This collaboration aims to expand the investigation’s scope through inter-agency cooperation and the use of advanced technology to uncover the truth behind the incident.

The governor has made it clear that anyone found to have played a role, no matter how minor, in the events leading to MohBad’s demise will be held accountable under the law following a thorough investigation.

This development follows closely after the Lagos State Police Command established a dedicated 13-member special investigation team to delve into the circumstances surrounding the musician’s passing.

MohBad’s untimely death occurred on Monday, September 11th.
