Sanwo-Olu Arrests Soldier, Motorcyclists For Plying One-Way

Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has directed the arrest of several motorcyclists, including a lance corporal, who were caught riding in the wrong direction along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway on Tuesday.
Videos shared by the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor, Wale Ajetunmobi, depicted the incident where the riders fled upon encountering the governor’s convoy.
The lance corporal involved was apprehended along with his bike. In response, Governor Sanwo-Olu ordered the arrest of the offending motorcyclist who claimed to be a soldier, emphasizing the need to address the menace of one-way riding.
The governor expressed concern about the safety implications for passengers and urged compliance with traffic rules.
The incident occurred while the governor was at the Lagos State University, Ojo Campus, for the official unveiling of the Femi Gbajabiamila Conference Centre.
