Sam Larry is currently in police custody regarding the investigation into the unfortunate passing of 27-year-old musician Promise Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad.

This development was announced by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday night.
Sam Larry faced public backlash on social media after videos emerged showing him and others allegedly harassing the late singer Mohbad.
In one of these videos, Mohbad and Zlatan were on the set of a music video when an individual associated with Naira Marley arrived with a group, targeting Mohbad, who fled the scene in fear.
These videos triggered anger among Nigerians on social media, leading to criticisms and attacks on Sam Larry’s Instagram page for his perceived bullying and threats toward the late singer.
