The Founder, Saliu Mustapha Foundation (SMF), Mall. Saliu Mustapha has Extolled the Kwara State Government under the leadership of Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the successful implementing the merit-based recruitment process for the newly engaged TESCOM and SUBEB teachers in Kwara State.
The Kwara-Born Philanthropist in a Statement made available to this medium Charged the new Recruited Teachers to live up to expectations.
The Statement reads in full;
“I congratulate the Kwara State Government for promising, planning and successfully implementing the merit-based recruitment process for the newly engaged TESCOM and SUBEB teachers in Kwara State.”
“I also congratulate the newly recruited teachers for being the first among equals. To be picked strictly on merit from among over fifty thousand applicants, without knowing a former this or a former that, was no mean feat. It is a testament to the new normal that our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is evolving in the governance of the state.”
“The only way, therefore, for the successful applicants to show gratitude to a state that has staked so much for them on this exercise is to live up to public expectations, and more importantly to play their parts in keeping the state on the same steady cause as the government has started and pursued so far.”
“The government is looking up to you, our party is looking up to you, parents are looking up to you, the pupils are looking up to you, and of course the critical mass of our citizenry are looking up to you. The good news is, nobody can tell you anymore that things cannot be better or done differently.”
“In playing your parts, you have to understand that all eyes are now on you, and rightly so, as the class with the brains and the magic wand. Because to whom much is given, much is expected.”
“I hope you are ready and eager to get to work so that decades from now you can take a look back and say you also left things a little bit better than you found them.”
