Saliu Mustapha applauds Prof. Abikan’s Appointment as NIALS DG
Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in National Assembly, has lauded the appointment of an illustrious son of Ilorin Emirate, Professor Abdulkadir Ibrahim Abikan as the Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, Senator Mustapha commended President Tinubu for recognizing excellence and merit by appointing Prof. Abikan to lead NIALS.
He described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Prof. Abikan’s exceptional legal expertise, academic brilliance, and commitment to advancing Nigeria’s legal framework.
The Senator noted that his appointment is a source of pride for the Ilorin community and proof of the wealth of talent in Ilorin.
While expressing confidence that the new appointee would bring transformative leadership to NIALS, the Kwara lawmaker congratulated him and prayed to God to grant him more wisdom, good health and courage as he assumes his new office.
