Renowned photographer, Xultan Visuals launches book to showcase tourism in Kwara

A young Photographer, Abdulraman Yusuf Dolapo, also known as Xultan Visuals has launched a book, “Visit Kwara: A Photographic Documentation Showcasing the People, Places, and Culture of Kwara State Nigeria.”

The book launch that took place on Sunday, February 12th at Fresh Hotel, Banquet Hall, Fate Road, Ilorin was highlighted by the premiere of the short film “The Scenics: A Short Film on Kwara’s Tourist Attractions,” which showcased the state’s stunning beauty and rich culture.

The keynote speaker, Mrs. Onietan Bolaji, the General Manager of the Kwara State Hospitality and Tourism Management Board, delivered a speech on the theme of “Economic Possibilities of Tourism Development in Kwara State,” adding weight to the occasion. The presence of prominent politician Barrister Kunle Sulyman also added to the significance of the event.

The book received positive reviews, with Mr. Olasupo Abideen praising the Visit Kwara project and calling for support from the state government. The musical performances by the talented Kwaran singer Jube and the spoken-word artist Mariam Abdulsalam captivated the audience with their artistic abilities.

This historic moment brought Kwara State into the spotlight and highlighted its potential for tourism development. Yusuf thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including the Visit Kwara team, the Turaki of Ilorin, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, who provided financial support, and the First Lady of Kwara State, Amb. (Dr) Mrs. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, who purchased some copies of the book.

On his part, Yusuf Dolapo ended by saying that Visit Kwara will not rest on its achievements and that more developmental plans and creative ideas are in the pipeline.
