Ramadan : IEYDA Doles out Gifts for Muslim Faithful in Kwara

The leading Social Cultural Group in Ilorin, The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) yesterday, Monday 12th April  Commenced the distribution of 5kg rice to over 150 Muslims across the five Local governments of Ilorin Emirate. 

The National Publicity of the Association, Alh. Muhammad Uthman Jagunma made this known while distributing the item at IEYDA Secretariat, Edun, Ilorin.

According to him, “Ramadan is an auspicious month of spiritual joy and blessings. It is also a key month in which we should go even further to help those most in need”.

“it’s imperative to assist our people by providing quality food items, especially during this precious month when the rewards of giving are multiplied”. Says, providing food for needies should be seen as a privilege and a blessing.

He further enjoyed the Muslims to used this period to forgive one another, pray for the peace and unity of the nation and to help the downtrodden among them as it is enshrined in Islam.
