Police Arrest Mr Ibu’s Son, Daughter For Alleged N55m Donations Theft
They are accused of involvement in the theft of N55 million in donations intended for Mr Ibu’s health expenses.


The police announced on Thursday the arrest of Onyeabuchi Okafor and Jasmine Okekeagwu, the son and adopted daughter of actor John Okafor, widely known as Mr Ibu.
They are accused of involvement in the theft of N55 million in donations intended for Mr Ibu’s health expenses.
The Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Lagos disclosed that the arrest followed a petition from Diamond Waves Law on behalf of Mr. Ibu’s wife, Stella Okafor, alleging a conspiracy to defraud the actor.
The police claim to have recovered the stolen funds, and the accused duo has been charged and taken to court.
