Plateau United Players Suspended for harassing match officials during Kwara Utd Clash
The NPFL, through a series of tweets, announced a three-matchday suspension from all league activities for the individuals involved.
Plateau United has seen two players, Jimmy Ambrose and Charles Henlong, along with team manager Iliya Abel, suspended by the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for harassing match officials during their clash with Kwara United.
The NPFL, through a series of tweets, announced a three-matchday suspension from all league activities for the individuals involved.
Additionally, Plateau United received a N1 million fine for their failure to ensure proper conduct by players and officials.
Enyimba also faced consequences as their official, Okey Nwabeke, received a three-matchday suspension for inciting unsporting conduct, and the club was fined N2 million for security lapses and improper behavior of their officials and fans.
Both clubs have 48 hours to appeal these sanctions.
