PEPT Verdict: Bola Tinubu Expresses Sleepless Excitement

President Bola Tinubu shared his exuberance over the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) verdict in Abuja, which declared him the winner of the February 25th election.

Tinubu, during a meeting at the G20 Summit in New Delhi, India, admitted that he was so thrilled about the outcome that he couldn’t sleep.

He anxiously awaited the tribunal’s decision, and when it was in his favor, the excitement kept him awake.

Apologizing for his late arrival at the meeting, President Tinubu explained, “The time difference between Nigeria and India added to the challenge. My phone kept ringing until I had to turn it off quite late in the day. It was a day marked by excitement, and I hope you understand the delay.”

Speaking to potential investors, Tinubu emphasized his government’s commitment to creating a favorable environment for businesses to flourish in Nigeria.

He stated, “We are not here to discuss politics but to present a vision for the future. We envision a prosperous Nigeria that harnesses its rich diversity, culture, and tradition for the benefit of its people. We are determined to achieve this goal, and you can count on us to make it happen.”
