PDP can’t resolve its leadership crisis if members keep trying to bring me down – Wike

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has voiced concerns about the internal challenges facing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja, Wike criticized what he described as ineffective leadership within the party, blaming personal ambitions and internal rivalries for hampering efforts to resolve its ongoing crisis.
Wike singled out Bala Muhammed, the Governor of Bauchi and chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, accusing him of poor leadership and failing to effectively organize and support the party. Wike argued that the lack of cohesion and leadership action is causing the party to lose focus on its core objectives.
The minister emphasized the need for unity and effective leadership within the PDP, urging members to prioritize party cohesion over personal agendas if they are serious about regaining influence on the national stage.
