PCRC lauds Olododo for new Police Station in Ondoko 

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has appreciated the lawmaker representing Ilorin-East and Ilorin-South federal constituency, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Cook-Olododo for facilitated Police Station and staff quarters in Ondoko, Ibagun ward, Ilorin East local government area of kwara state.

The National Chairman of PCRC, Alh Ibrahim Magaji-Olaniyan, who made the commendation through the National Deputy Auditor of the Committee, Alh Uthman Jagunmo in Ilorin, said the edifice would assist in reducing criminal acts in Ilorin metropolis.

Alh Magaji-Olaniyan said the new Police Station would bring policing closer to the people and charged the people of the community to support the police by providing information that would assist them in discharging their duty effectively.

The National Chairman of the PCRC commended Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for his support for security agents in the state and appealed to him not to relent his efforts toward ensuring a crime free society.

Alh Magaji-Olaniyan also applauded the state Commissioner of Police, CP Paul Odama for his role in maintain peace and order with other security agents in the state and charged them to sustain the tempo.

Also speaking, the Chairman Kwara State Command of the PCRC, Alh Adebayo Lawal described the newly police station as a welcome development to curb criminality in our environment.

The state Chairman then give kudos to the lawmaker, Alh AbdulGaniyu Cook-Olododo for the job and tasked other lawmakers to emulate him by representing the interest of their people at the National Assembly to facilitating projects and programmes that would impact positively in their lives.

Alh Lawal noted that parts of the Ilorin metropolis had recently witnessed attacks by kidnappers, especially in new sites, adding that with new Police Station in our society it would reduce the menace.
