Over 1500 People benefit from Ilorin Likeminds Foundation’s Medical Outreach

Over 1500 underprivileged individuals in the Ilorin Emirate have received essential medical care through the efforts of the Ilorin Likeminds Foundation.

This outreach program, which commenced earlier today was conducted at three distinct locations, including the Emir of Ilorin Palace, Ubandawaki, Pakata, and Dada in the Okelele community.

The services rendered encompassed eye care, medical check-ups, blood tests, and a range of other medical services.

During an interview with our correspondent at the event, Alh. Lukman Atanda, the Vice President of the foundation, elaborated that the primary goal of this outreach is to provide high-quality healthcare services to the disadvantaged population within the Ilorin Emirate.

He further disclosed the foundation’s intention to enroll 100 of these beneficiaries in the Kwara State health insurance scheme, guaranteeing their medical coverage for the next three years.

Prof. Katibi Ibrahim Adeola, the chairman of the Medical Outreach committee, appealed to philanthropists and compassionate individuals to join forces with the Ilorin Likeminds Foundation in extending healthcare services to those in need. He also shared the foundation’s commitment to making this outreach a recurring event.

In a show of appreciation, beneficiaries at the event expressed their gratitude to the foundation for this commendable initiative.
