Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and his team have been placed in Group C for this season’s UEFA Champions League group stage, where they will face off against Real Madrid.

The draw, held in Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum, pairs the Italian league champions with the 14-time UCL winners, along with Portugal’s Braga and Germany’s Union Berlin in the same group.

This match-up will see Victor Osimhen of Nigeria’s Super Eagles facing Real Madrid in two matches.

The draw, co-hosted by Barcelona and Chelsea legends Eric Abidal and Joe Cole, also brings forth an exciting clash between Bayern Munich and Manchester United in Group A, alongside FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray.

Defending UCL champions Manchester City secured a favorable draw, finding themselves in Group G with RB Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade (Crevna Zvezda), and Young Boys.

The initial round of group stage fixtures is scheduled for September 19 and 20. The 2023 UCL final is slated to take place at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 1.
