Ondo Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has nominated Olayide Adelami, a former deputy clerk of the national assembly, as the state’s deputy governor.
This decision follows the dissolution of the state executive council by Aiyedatiwa.
Adelami, hailing from Owo LGA, the same as the late Rotimi Akeredolu, the former governor, will have his nomination announced by the house of assembly after screening and ratification, according to a statement from the governor’s chief press secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
The statement outlines Adelami’s educational background and extensive career, emphasizing his contributions to setting up key departments in the National Assembly and other notable achievements during his years of service.
