For his spectacular leadership style and meritable contribution to humanity, the Association of Muslims Mass Communication Students (AMMCOS), Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State has presented to Mr Olufadi Balarabe Teniola Ayuba, a leadership award.
Mr Balarabe, who is a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin was rewarded for his commitment towards building and directing the association since its inception as a great Alumnus of the institution.
The association, on Saturday, celebrated its annual jihad day by handing over to new executives who will pilot the affairs of the association for a year.
While receiving the award, Mr Balarabe who was the former Secretary of the association lauded the students for appreciating his efforts and being a role model to most of the executives in general.
He also appreciated the outgoing executives of the association, saying their company will be greatly missed.
“Special appreciation to the personality of Mr. AbdulKadir Babatunde. Mr. Usman Olabanji ( Busy Brain). Comr. Habeeb. Comr. Oluwashina and others. Thanks for the love from the start” he said.
Olufadi has been reported to be a kindhearted and easy going man, his lifestyle has inspired others to ignored the stress in the study of Mass Communication, with help of God, Parents and other lecturers, many students can’t leave Mr Olufadi’s name unpenned because of his meritorious and method of brotherly teachings he gave to his students. He is one of the closest lecturer to students in more than one institution.
He also belongs to many NGOs like Stands to help foundation, PLACY CLUB, W.E.A.H Foundation, HICA etcetera. He is an Award winner Ilorin Emirate Students’ Union (University of Ilorin) 2021, SUG NAMCOED 2021 award as best SDG Advocator. TIMSAN (Kwarapoly Chapter) 2021 award of excellence. BSG (Kwarapoly Chapter) 2020 award as Outstanding Mentor. I.E.S.U (Federal Polytechnic, Offa Chapter) as Emirate Ambassador.
