Ogun Hires 1,000 Teachers for Public Schools

He expressed gratitude to teachers’ unions for their service and promised further education reforms.
Additionally, the governor plans to employ an additional 2,000 interns to enhance the teacher-student ratio.
Abiodun emphasized his commitment to teachers’ welfare and urged their dedication to the education sector’s growth.
Abiodun commended teachers for shaping society and stressed the importance of academic excellence.
The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Abiodun Akinola, thanked the governor but called for a policy shift to reduce out-of-school children.
The event also featured the allocation of a two-bedroom bungalow to Akeem Badru, the first African to win the Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Award.
