A serving corps member in Gombe State, Shukurat Temitope Ibrahim, has unveiled her plans for a personal community development project aimed at improving education in the state.

In an interview on *Cliqchat*, a program on KwaraTV, Shukurat, who previously worked with the station before her NYSC call-up, shared her motivation for the project. She described education as a critical area that requires enhanced support in Gombe State and expressed her commitment to making a positive impact.

“This project is my way of contributing to the future of Gombe children, ensuring they have the tools they need to thrive academically and personally,” Shukurat said.

Her initiative includes renovating the toilets at Kamara Primary School, providing essential learning materials, and distributing school sandals to students. She emphasized that the project is a personal effort, independent of her role as the Girl Child Education Ambassador for Gombe State. “I’m embarking on this as a corps member passionate about education and community development. I followed all NYSC procedures to gain approval and am determined to make an impact during my service year,” she explained.

Shukurat also called on individuals, philanthropists, and organizations to support the project, highlighting its potential to create a brighter future for Gombe’s children.

She thanked the General Manager of KwaraTV, Ayobami Akanbi, and the station’s management for helping to amplify her efforts.
