No Rift Between Tinubu, Shettima – Presidency

The Presidency has dismissed rumors of a conflict between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, stressing that the two maintain a strong working relationship.
Stanley Nkwocha, the spokesperson for Vice President Shettima, called the allegations baseless, emphasizing that Shettima is a valued and trusted member of the administration with the full support of President Tinubu.
Nkwocha described the claims of a rift as untrue, noting that Shettima remains loyal and well-integrated into the government.
In a statement issued for Shettima’s 58th birthday, Nkwocha referred to the rumors as “illogical conspiracy theories” and praised Shettima for his dedication to President Tinubu.
Nkwocha also rejected reports that Shettima has been sidelined, asserting that the Vice President is a key figure in the administration and continues to make significant contributions.
He concluded by highlighting Shettima’s experience, expertise, and energy as vital assets in supporting President Tinubu’s goals for Nigeria.
