No more political crisis in Rivers – Fubara Says

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has said that his administration has overcome the political turmoil in the state and is now focused on delivering effective governance. This was stated during a visit by the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions, led by Chairman Mike Etaba.
Fubara explained that the pressures from the political crisis have only made him more committed to serving the people. He cited the example of a movie, “Devil’s Advocate,” where pressure either breaks people or motivates them to succeed. He said his team chose to stay focused and that they are making a positive impact.
Fubara also pointed to the recent empowerment of about 3,066 Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises with a N4 billion single-digit loan scheme, launched in collaboration with the Bank of Industry Limited, as an example of his administration’s work to boost the state’s economy.
Governor Fubara has had ongoing tensions with his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, but he assured that these issues are no longer significant and that the administration is moving ahead.
