The Henley Passport Index has revealed that the Nigerian passport grants visa-free access to approximately 45 countries in 2024.
Ranked 95th out of 104 nations with powerful passports, Nigeria trails behind countries like Ghana, Guinea, and Kenya.
Notable among the 45 visa-free destinations are Barbados, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cape Verde Islands, Ghana, Iran, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, and Samoa.
The index is based on data from the International Air Transport Association, providing insights into global passport rankings.
