Nigerian Man Buried Alive in Coffin for 23 Hours
A Nigerian man known as Young C spent 23 hours buried alive in a coffin as part of a challenge.
In an update posted on his Instagram account on Thursday, he assured his followers, “Guys, I’m still alive, I’m still fine, I’m okay. Many of you might be worried, but there’s no need—I’m fine.”
Breathing heavily, he added, “My only problem is that I’m out of water, and I might have to resort to drinking this (my urine). Guys, I’m fine.”
Young C began this bold challenge on Wednesday, announcing he intended to be buried alive for 24 hours.
He posted a video on Instagram to confirm the stunt was real and not a trick. He also announced plans to livestream from inside the coffin during the night.
In a prior update, Young C mentioned he had been buried for more than 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including profuse sweating.
