Nigerian governors visit Tinubu in Lagos
Tinubu, who arrived in Lagos from Abuja for the Christmas and New Year celebrations, was warmly received by supporters, including Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Members of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu in Lagos.
Tinubu, who arrived in Lagos from Abuja for the Christmas and New Year celebrations, was warmly received by supporters, including Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The governors, led by their chairman AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, were captured in a video boarding a bus to the president’s residence.
The meeting took place at Lagos House in Marina, and notable figures like Vice-President Kashim Shettima and Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff to the president, were also in attendance.
Governors from various states, including Imo, Kogi, Edo, Kano, Benue, Plateau, Katsina, Ondo, Kogi (governor-elect), Ogun, Sokoto, Kaduna, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Rivers, were among those present.
