Nigerian cost of living lowest in Africa – Presidency
Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga stated that President Bola Tinubu is focused on addressing economic and security challenges, acknowledging short-term pains for long-term prosperity.

Amid rising inflation, the Presidency has asserted on Sunday that Nigerians experience the lowest living costs in Africa.
Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga stated that President Bola Tinubu is focused on addressing economic and security challenges, acknowledging short-term pains for long-term prosperity.
This response comes after accusations from Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s 2023 presidential candidate, who criticized Tinubu’s economic policies for causing despair.
The Presidency countered, stating that Atiku’s claims lack factual basis and emphasized the positive trajectory of Tinubu’s administration.
Additionally, an APC member urged opposition parties to refrain from criticizing Tinubu over rising crimes and instead support efforts to address security challenges.
