Mohbad’s death has prompted Senator Ned Nwoko to announce his intention to propose a bill requiring mandatory autopsies before burials.
In a statement on his Instagram page, he expressed sorrow over the singer’s untimely passing and emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Senator Nwoko also advocated for swift action by the police and DSS while calling on the state government to order an autopsy report without delay, bypassing unnecessary formalities.
Additionally, he revealed his plan to introduce a nationwide bill that mandates timely autopsies before burials, with the government bearing the cost, to ensure transparency in determining the cause of death and prevent speculations.
This move, he believes, will contribute to the development of new laws for the better governance of the country.
