The National Association of Kwara State Students, NAKSS is set to organize a free 5 Days Skills acquisition training for the students of the state.
This was contained in a Statement Released by the Association President Comrade MUFTAU, Mubarak Shittu (ATUNLUSHE) on Friday.
According to the statement, The students’ capacity building programme is ably powered by Commissioner, Revenue Fiscal and Mobilization Commission, (RMAFC) the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alh. Shuaibu Yamman Abdullahi is aimed at giving students the required skills for them to be more effective and gain financial freedom to further contribute to economic growth.
The statement also revealed that the the training will focus on tye and dye, yoghurt production, pastries, liquid wash and disinfectant production. The training is scheduled to hold at NLC HALL, Ilorin.
“More so, the program is an opportunity for all Kwara indigenes in tertiary institutions to stand the chance of learning how to tap from less popularized skills and knowledge that’ll enhance their entrepreneurship ability.
In light of this, the leadership of the apex indigenous association implore students to make use of this rare opportunity and register for the skills acquisition via (https://forms.gle/pvZUguJinhGWqK9P7) between Thursday 25th — Monday 29th November 2021.
Lastly, One Hundred applicants would be carefully selected which will cut across all tertiary institutions and the training shall commence between Thursday 2nd – Tuesday 7th December 2021.” The statement reads
