Naira Marley Detained by Police for Questioning in MohBad’s Case

Naira Marley, whose real name is Azeez Fashola, has been detained by the police for questioning and further investigation,” stated Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos police command.

Naira Marley is expected to cooperate with the police as they investigate the passing of his former protege, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as MohBad.

Although Naira Marley has been accused of involvement in MohBad’s death, he has expressed his intention to assist the police in uncovering the truth. He recently returned to Nigeria for this purpose.

This development comes in the wake of MohBad’s controversial death, with allegations of mistreatment prior to his passing. Protests have erupted across Nigeria, demanding a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.

Despite MohBad’s hasty burial, his remains were exhumed by the authorities for autopsy, the results of which are still pending.

The Federal Government and the Senate have also taken interest in the matter, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu involving the Department of State Services (DSS) to ensure justice is served.
